Puzzle books for brave potatoes.

We make word searches that don’t sit still. Every word twists, turns and doubles back through the grid, so you can’t just scan along the rows. You have to follow the trail.

Try it: POTATO is hiding in the card. Drag through its letters.

This is puzzle 02, Paris, exactly as it’s printed. Drag from the first letter of a word to its last, one square at a time. Words can turn at any letter, in any of the eight directions.

  1. Every word in the list is hidden in the grid.
  2. Each letter touches the one before it: up, down, sideways or diagonally.
  3. A word never uses the same square twice, and no two words share a square.
  4. The other letters are filler. Some of them spell words that aren’t on the list, so don’t be fooled.

51 themes to get lost in

The book opens with a puzzle all about potatoes, then works through fifty themes twice over, with different words the second time round.

A very small press

Potato Princess Press began with one book, made as a present for one potato. It turned out the twisting puzzles were too much fun to keep to ourselves.

The first print run is a small gift edition, so the book isn’t in shops yet. A shop edition is on its way to Amazon and bookshops. Write to us and we’ll tell you the day it’s out.
